Privacy Policy

Last updated: July 14, 2026 · Applies to the Zimblu iOS app and the browser tools at zimblu.co

The short version: your videos, audio, scripts, and projects are processed entirely on your own device. They are never uploaded to us — we have no servers that could receive them. We don't run accounts, we don't sell data, and we don't show ads.

What we collect

Nothing, by default. Zimblu has no accounts and no sign-in. The app and the browser tools do not collect, transmit, or store your personal information, your media, or your edits on any server. All editing — including AI features such as captions, object erase, and stabilization — runs locally on your device using on-device models.

Your media

  • iOS app: videos and photos you import stay in the app's private storage on your device. The app requests access only to the items you pick, never your whole library. Exported videos go where you choose (your photo library or the share sheet).
  • Browser tools (zimblu.co): files you open are processed by your own browser on your own hardware. They are not uploaded — processing works even if you go offline after the page loads.

Purchases

The optional one-time unlock in the iOS app is processed entirely by Apple through your App Store account. We never see your payment details. Purchases can be restored through Apple at any time.

Speech, captions, and translation

Caption generation, voice features, and translation use Apple's on-device frameworks. Your recordings and transcripts are not sent to us. The first use of a caption language or translation pair may prompt Apple to download a language pack from Apple — that download is handled by iOS under Apple's own privacy terms.

Diagnostics and feedback

If something goes wrong, the app never sends crash or usage data anywhere automatically. If you choose to contact us or send feedback, we receive only what you write and any diagnostics you explicitly include, and we use it solely to help you and improve the app.

Cookies and analytics on zimblu.co

The website sets no tracking cookies and runs no third-party advertising or fingerprinting scripts. Our hosting provider (Cloudflare) may process standard server logs — such as IP address and request time — to serve and secure the site; these are governed by Cloudflare's privacy policy and are not used by us to identify you.

Children

Zimblu does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children. Since no data is collected, there is nothing to delete — but if you have a concern, contact us and we'll help.

Changes

If this policy ever changes — for example, if a future feature needs a network service — we'll update this page and the "last updated" date above before the change ships. The on-device promise is the product; we do not intend to weaken it.
